Beginning of the Story and Ernst Institute :

• The Beginning : Yale Dawson belonged to a very wealthy and powerful family of the Yulan Continent known as the Dawson Clan, who were the owners of the Dawson Conglomerate ( a major trade organization ).

• Admission into the Ernst Institute : Yale enrolled in the Ernst Institute—the finest magic and martial arts academy in the world—where he shared a dormitory room with the main character Linley Baruch, George Walsh, and Reynolds Dunstan.

• The Title of "Boss Yale" : The four brothers became close friends. Yale was the oldest among them, and due to his helpful nature toward his friends, everyone affectionately called him "Boss Yale."

• Return to Business : After completing his studies at the institute and experiencing the events of Apocalypse Day, Yale stepped away and joined his father ( Monroe Dawson ) to shoulder the responsibility of running and managing their family's massive business empire.

• Odin's Cruelty : While Linley Baruch and his companions had left the Yulan Continent for another world ( the Infernal Realm ), their enemy Odin seized control of the Dawson Conglomerate from behind the scenes.

• Massacre of Loved Ones : Odin cruelly controlled Yale once again and forced him with his own hands to slaughter every single member of his family.

• Torturous Punishment : After having them all killed, Odin sealed Yale's powers ( mageforce ) and hung him from a tree. Odin would sit there daily drinking wine, enjoying the sound of Yale's madness and painful screams.

• Begging for Death : When Reynolds Dunstan and other friends returned and saw Yale's condition, Yale Dawson was screaming in his final lucid moments, "I have committed a sin!", and repeatedly begged his friends for death so he could escape this torment. Eventually, out of pity or upon his wish, his friends granted him release from this agonizing life ( letting him die ).

Journey to the Netherworld and Revival :

• Chief Sovereign of Death's Conditions : Later on, after becoming extremely powerful, Linley Baruch fulfilled the conditions set by the Chief Sovereign of Death to resurrect his deceased friends and family members, and Yale's name was included among them.

• Return in the Netherworld : Through the Sovereign's power, Yale Dawson was resurrected, and all of his past memories were restored. During his journey through the Netherworld and other realms, Yale continued his cultivation with hard work and the help of Divine Sparks.
